Encz will moderate the panel reflecting on concerns and challenge related to journalism ‘beyond broadcast’.

Philipp Encz is a Bloomberg Television reporter who covers European market news and the media and technology industry. He joined Bloomberg in 2000, and between 2001 and 2004 was a US correspondent in New York for Bloomberg TV Germany. He was a correspondent for four years for Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland, stationed in Munich. Encz moved to London in mid-2008 and, until February 2009, presented the morning programme Early Exchange on Bloomberg TV Germany. In March 2009 he began to appear regularly on the global Bloomberg TV channel.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, he spent a year in the German Military Alpine Rangers and two years in banking at Bayern LB. He received a BA Hons degree in International Business Management, Finance and Strategic Marketing from the European School of Business, and a scholarship from the Eberle Butschka Trust.
